Get your costume ready for Khanya Hospice’s mad hatters fundraising party at Pennington Relton Hall on Saturday, 9 August at 2pm.
“The public is invited to attend and proceeds will be donated to Hospice,” said organiser, Audrey de Jager. “This promises to be a day full of fun and laughter and there will be some great prizes to be won, including for best hat.”
Tickets cost R30 and are available from Audrey on 083-321-5664 or the Hospice shop in Pennington on 039-945-3924.
The public is also invited to visit the new shop situated in the same centre, just to the right of the old shop.
“There are real bargains,” said shop manager, Olive Myende. “Anyone wanting to donate to the shop, can call 039-975-3924 or drop off. Hospice takes anything and everything – whatever you have to give away.”
