It’s karnaval time at Kuswag

A bigger entertainment programme has been lined-up.

THE exciting Kuswag Karnaval takes place on the fields of Kuswag School, Kuswaglaan, Amanzimtoti, from Thursday, 14 August to Sunday, 17 August.

More than 7,500 visitors of all ages, walks of life, cultures and from far and wide attended last year’s karnaval.

This year the organisers are pulling out all the stops with an even bigger entertainment programme lined-up to ensure an unforgettable event for all.

The first auditions for the East Coast’s Got Talent competition will take place at Kuswag School on Saturday, 26 July and Friday, 1 August. On Friday, 8 August the semi-finals will take place, Barnyard style at Kuswag School. Don’t miss out on the opportunity and fun.

Chetty’s fun fair will provide 23 breathtaking rides. A cross-section of exhibitors will promote anything and everything from home improvements, travel, outdoor, sports and leisure, motoring and boating, to health and beauty, fashion and jewellery.

Entertainment will include: Barney and Friends, matric fashion parade, the East Coast’s Got Talent competition finals, refreshments, food stalls, beer marquee with live music, Springbok rugby on the big screen, kiddies entertainment, fun fair, tea garden, fleamarket, art market, Bargain Books shop, Checkers boerewors competition, Debonairs pizza eating competition, coke-drinking competition and more.

Prime Circle will entertain on Friday evening, 15 August and Theuns Jordaan on Saturday evening, 16 August. The ‘ATKV tienertoneelstreeksuitdunne’ will take place at Kingsway High from 14 to 16 August. On Sunday morning, 17 August there will be an open church meeting with Kuswag’s own star, Munique Oosthuizen as the artist. The entertainment is aimed at all ages, young and old.
