Imminent wall collapse poses threat to safety

We look forward to a response both from your paper and the council, and trust we will see some action taken on our return to Toti.

EDITOR – While we were down for the July school holidays, we noticed the wall in Beach Road, Amanzimtoti near Spring Tide, is falling down.

We felt uncomfortable about walking on the pavement and had to cross the road to ensure our safety.

We feel confident that, should this wall give way, the driveway to Spring Tide will also give way, resulting in an even bigger safety hazard for pedestrians.

As a regular, bringing tourists to Toti, we trust that this matter gets immediate attention as it is very dangers for passers-by. We believe that this has been reported previously but still no action has been taken. We even reported it to your offices, who promised to get back to us.

We look forward to a response both from your paper and the council, and trust we will see some action taken on our return to Toti. We hope that the council takes notice of our concerns and repairs the wall before someone get seriously hurt as a direct result of the collapse of the wall.
