Artists donate to SPCA

The public is invited to attend the next club meeting.

As a result of a highly successful art exhibition at Seadoone Mall recently, the Upper South Coast Art Association (USCAA) donated R600 to Toti SPCA.

“This was from proceeds of a raffle held during the art show as we have a policy that we give something back to the community from paintings raffled,” said USCAA president, Joan Ray.

“The club prefers to support local charities when staging their exhibitions and, together with the support of the mall’s management, it was the SPCA who was the beneficiary of the most recent show.”

The public is invited to attend the next club meeting at the Amanzimtoti library activities hall on Saturday, 16 August at 1.30pm.

Renowned artist, Barbara Siedle will give a talk on her new book on watercolour paintings. The cost is R25, which includes tea.
