Hairdresser’s talents extend to fashion

Models took to stage to launch new product range.

ATHLONE Park hairdresser, Renata Reimeringer Visser, who is one of four Loreal SA ambassadors participated in a show to launch a new product range at the Barnyard in Rivonia on Tuesday, 24 June.

Dubbed the Tecni.Art Show, the ambassadors interpreted the product range with a variety of fashions and hairstyles.

“It took Renata four months to plan. Ten models took to stage in a variety of outfits and hairstyles. She planned the hair, dress and make-up. It was a phenomenal show which also encompassed dancers and acrobats,” said her husband, Tom.

Although Renata designed the dresses, they were made by Toti designer, Madelain Clark.

“Renata lives, eats and sleeps hairdressing and fashion. She has been in the business for 35 years and was inspired by her career-choice by her mother, also a hairdresser.”

In 2013, she participated in a similar show called the Spring/Summer Collection, also for Loreal.

Renata keeps up-to-date with current trends and regularly attends seminars and shows.
