Fishing news brought to you by Fishing Tackle Shop Warner Beach

SHOALS of small shad have started biting along the South Coast, from Scottburgh to Inyoni Rocks at Amanzimtoti.
Most of these fish are undersize, so make sure you measure them before taking any home.  Minimum size for shad is 300mm.
There has been a few stumpnose and small kob being caught, but these are few and far between.
Hopefully these shad will stay around for a few more weeks; this will bring the garrick and big kob.
The KwaZulu-Natal coast offers some of the finest fishing areas in South Africa, from endless stretches of golden sands or from a gently rocking ski-boat.  Fishing off these shores is a relaxing experience.
Lagoons, estuaries, rocks and deep sea fishing are all within easy reach.
Do not forget your fishing licence, this can be a costly affair if you are caught without one.
Tight lines and please keep our coastline clean.
