Bunny spreads Easter cheer

Businesses can still donate.

The Easter Bunny was spotted in Toti this week.

Pre-school pupils, young hospital patients and caravan park residents are in for a treat when the Easter Bunny visits to hand out Easter eggs on Thursday and Friday, 18 and 19 April.

The goodwill is an Amanzimtoti Cares (AC) initiative. “This is a special weekend and we want to bring a little Easter cheer to all the children,” said AC’s Edna Blom. “The Easter eggs were donated by local businesses and individuals. We will also distribute them to the children of the 30 families we care for. The public can still donate. Obviously the more eggs that are donated, the more cheer we can spread.

Thanks to Jackie Esterhuizen of the Party Shop in Doonside and everyone who has helped. Without them, this would not have been possible. Thanks also to everyone who continues to support AC.” To donate, contact Edna on 082-466-0017.

Amanzimtoti Cares supports the less fortunate by donating food parcels to families and pensioners who struggle to make a living. For more information on AC, visit their Facebook page ‘Amanzimtoti Cares’.
