Lions to help ward off winter chill

Do you have old, warm clothes in good condition to donate?

THE Lions Club of Kingsburgh has started its ‘anything warm campaign’ and urges the public to donate warm clothes to the project.

“We appeal to the generous public to supply items, new or almost new in good condition to ease the plight of those less fortunate,” said Lion Gwen Ellis. Public support has been invaluable in the past, which saw the community donate generously and it hopes for a similar response this time round.

They are looking for socks, bedsocks, gloves, beanies, vests, T-shirts, jerseys, tracksuits, blankets, scarves, in fact anything warm.
