Library week brings out the artists in pupils

AMANZIMTOTI library staff celebrated Library Week by inviting Dr Made School to participate in an art competition and display at the activities hall from 17 to 21 March.

The Upper South Coast Art Association (USCAA) was asked to judge the competition and Jean Taylor and Ritha Fenske were on hand to do the honours.

USCAA sponsored the prizes, which comprised of art materials. The library sponsored the certificates, trophies and party packs.

Librarian Nerina provided food and drinks and gave a gift to Ritha and Joan for their efforts.

Library week was a great success.

The winners are: First prize, Siyabonga Dube; second Sishi Andile; third Mpendulo Shezi; highly commended Quinsela Khezi.
