Tail-wagging beauties take to the ramp

IF you love animals and would enjoy being an ambassador for animal welfare organisation, 4 Paws and a Tale Rescue, then enter the Miss 4 Paws pageant.

Girls between 14 and 20-years-old are encouraged to enter, along with their four-legged friends. The winner will be crowned on Saturday, 26 April at 2pm at Pahla Centre (next to Kip McGrath), outside ‘Tales End’, the organisation’s charity shop. She will walk away with a R1,000 cash prize.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for a girl to show her love for animals by being involved in this worthy organisation. The winner will be involved in fundraising, promoting our feeding and sterilisation programmes and to be a 4 Paws representative at various functions, including the Highland Gathering,” said organiser, Jacqueline Smith.

Entrants should email a photo of themselves with their pets, along with a 100-word paragraph on their ideas to promote 4 Paws and why should they should be chosen as an ambassador to jennyb@dbn.caxton.co.za. Full names and age must be included. Closing date for photo entries is Tuesday, 22 April. The photos will be published on the Sun’s website www.southcoastsun.co.za.

Entry fee is R25 per person. Deposit the money in the following account: 4 Paws and a Tale Fundraising, First National Bank Scottburgh, account number 6244-342-4990, branch code, 220-227. Entrants should use their full name as a reference.
