Death of Ian Harrison

Friends and family of Ian Dugald Harrison (79) are mourning his death on Monday night, 17 March.

Ian lived in Toti and Warner Beach for 28 years, after moving from Johannesburg with his wife of 25 years, Quinta.

He and Quinta married in 1989 in Cape Town, after meeting in Port Elizabeth in 1985.

“Ian was a technical sales rep for Plascon in the furniture industry in Durban for many years,” said Quinta. “He was a massive joker with a good sense of humour.”

His daughters, Maxime and Kate described their father as “always happy and a fun-loving guy”. “He was a great dad and a wonderful husband to Quinta. He was also a big Sharks supporter,” they said.

Ian is survived by his wife, Quinta and children, Cheryl, Susan, Leigh-Anne, Kate, Maxime and Gary.

His funeral takes place on Friday, 21 March at 11am at St Winifreds Methodist Church. The family request a donation to the church in lieu of flowers.
