Hospice shops need volunteers

Khanya Hospice is looking for volunteers to help in its shops.

“We are particularly looking for volunteers with an artistic flair and someone who is very good at window dressing and interior decorating,” said Khanya Hospice CEO, Neil McDonald. “People are invited to come and browse around the shop and meet branch manager, Sarie Pretorius and the other volunteers.” Anyone interesting in volunteering for Hospice can contact Sarie at the Toti Shop at Southgate Mall.

“Hospice’s free nursing care is partly sustained by the donated goods that we put up for sale in our three shops,” said Neil. People are invited to donate furniture, bric n brac, clothes, crockery, cutlery and whatever you have to give away. Hospice has shops in Toti, Scottburgh and Pennington. For more information, contact 031-903-3408 or 039-973-0277.
