Irresponsible dog owners disappoint

EDITOR – I am so disappointed in the dog owners of Amanzimtoti.
Somebody in Amanzimtoti has lost this dog.
He is quite a gentleman with very good manners and obviously somebody has spent some time with him, as he is also properly house-trained. This is not a young puppy nor a stray as he is in good health and condition.
I am so disappointed that nobody is looking for him. Where are his owners and why have they not contact the local SPCA looking for this dog?
He was found on a property in Bhengu Road, Amanzimtoti on New Years. He obviously got lost during the fireworks and found a safe, quiet place. We have reported this but no-one has made an effort to look for him. We have tried to leave the gates open to see if he will go back home, but he does not know the way back home as he keep on coming back into the gate and prefer to stay.
We are asking the owners of this dog to contact us on 074-559-1369 or 074-520-1041 to collect your dog. We do not just want to let the SPCA have your dog so we are pleading with you to come and collect your dog. Although he is safe he is also longing for his family. The people he loves and the people that knows his name.
How can human parents through their dog child away?
