Hip hop festival a huge success
The second annual hip hop festival, hosted in KwaMakutha on 16 December, was a huge success, according to organisers.
“The festival received support from Galleria, eThekwini Municipality and Sapphire Coast Toti Tourism, which bodes well for its future,” said organiser, Siyabonga Ntlola.
“The festival aims to provide a platform for youth involved in the arts.”
Performances ranged from hip hop music, poetry, dance and freestyle contests. This year organisers, Listen To Reason also showcased local fashion designers. Participants came from KwaMakutha, Illovu, Umlazi, Malvern and Johannesburg.
