Kitty gets more than he bargained for

A warm sleeping place turned out to be a bad decision for a kitten when the bus he was sleeping on pulled off en route to its next stop.

Kingsburgh Centre car guard, Maureen Rolling noticed a white kitten hop down from the undercarriage of a bus when it dropped passengers off close to the centre on Monday afternoon, 28 October.

“The kitten walked around, looking confused as if it didn’t know the area,” said Maureen. “I asked the driver where he had come from and he said ATKV Natalia.” Maureen took the kitten there and a number of other places in the area, but no-one recognised it. “I had no choice then but to drop it off at Toti SPCA.

She estimates the kitten to be about four or five-months-old with a pink collar. Contact Toti SPCA on 031-904-2424/5.
