Four sheep among N2 crash injured
Eleven people and four sheep were injured when a bakkie overturned on the N2 north near the Amanzimtoti River, just after 11am.
Reports from the scene are that 15 people and the four sheep were traveling from Mtwalumi on the South Coast to attend a function in Pietermaritzburg, when the vehicle overturned. It is not known what caused the bakkie to overturn.‎
Netcare 911 paramedics and other emergency services found the injured lying on the grass next to the highway. Two sustained serious injuries while nine escaped with minor injuries. Paramedics stabilised the injured and transported them to various hospitals. The sheep were handed over to Amanzimtoti SPCA for further treatment.
These accidents are getting out of hand, it is always the innocent that get injured or killed due to stupidnes of other drivers
