Adams College commemorates 160 years
FOR its 160 year celebration, Adams College in Adams Mission will host a number of events leading up to its main fundraising event, a gala dinner on 20 November.
A golf day at Amanzimtoti Country Club is the first of many events which local business people are invited to participate in. The golf day is on Thursday, 5 September at 10am. Entry is R2,000 per fourball. To participate, book before Friday, 30 August.
Sponsorship holes for first, ninth and 18th are R5,000 each including the fourball. Other holes are R3,000 each, including the fourball. To enter contact 031-900-5013, 081-485-7156/61 or fundraising@adamscollegesa.co.za
Celebrations also take place at Adams College from 11 to 13 October.
On Friday, 11 October an education, health and business networking day takes place between 10am and 4pm. This is followed by an arts, culture, health and spots sport day, from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, 12 October. On Sunday, 13 October, a church service takes place at the school from 10am to 4pm.
The highlight of the celebrations is a gala dinner at the ICC in Durban on Wednesday, 20 November from 6pm to 9pm. Guest speaker is former student and current chairman of the African Union, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma.
