Pedestrian robbed on Arbour Road

Arbour Road between Galleria and Arbour Crossing is developing a reputation as new hot-spot for robberies.

At 5.30am on Tuesday, 23 July, Daryl Kozakiewiez was accosted by four men while walking to Southgate Industrial Park. “One man had a firearm. They lay me face down in the bush and stole everything,” said Daryl.

Darryl was forced to give the men his bank pin. “They said if I didn’t give them my bank code they would kill me,” said Daryl. Two men stayed with Daryl while the other two went to withdraw money from his bank account.

The thieves only left Daryl with his boxer shorts after withdrawing R400 from his bank account. Toti SAP transported Daryl to the police station where he opened a case of theft.

“My brother has noticed a few people being robbed on the road between Galleria and Arbour Crossing where I was robbed,” said Daryl.
