Competitions underway at Winkle Bowling Club
Despite lockdown restrictions, a full field of bowlers were present on the greens.
Secretaries got the ball rolling with two of Winkle Bowling Club’s (WBC) monthly competitions taking place again.
Overall winners of the women’s twinkle trips were Delysia Mitchley, Leonie Mills and Denise Bingham. Second session winners were Julie Sutherland, Dawn Schauer and Margret van Belkum. The 100 board was won by Denise Bingham and Avril Smith won the mystery prize.

Second session winners were Mike Krugar, Barry Hilton and Dries Snyman. The 100 board was won by Keith Holmes.

Mixed trips takes place on Saturday, 27 February. Put your name on the list to avoid disappointment. Social bowls are every Wednesday and Friday, tabs in between 2pm and 2.30pm. The usual Covid-19 restrictions will apply.
