International Mandela Day is commemorated on 18 July.
This year Nelson Mandela turned 95. People around the globe are encouraged to do something good whether it be painting a children’s home or helping a charity.
The idea behind Mandela Day is to dedicate 67 minutes of your day to a good cause. These 67 minutes symbolise the 67 years Madiba devoted his life to politics, freedom and equality.
