Genealogical Society of SA hosts Stuart Freedman

SATURDAY, 8 OCTOBER: The next meeting of the Durban and Coastal branch of the Genealogical Society of SA at 1.45pm for 2pm. Guest speaker will be ‘history buff’ and photographer Stuart Freedman who will give an illustrated talk on the history of Durban Harbour from 1835 until present.

This should be of great interest to many, especially those with a settler background.

Visitors are welcome.

Meetings are held in the Family History Centre in the basement of the LDS Church on the corner of Vause and Silverton Roads. Entrance to the centre is from Montgomery Avenue, off Silverton Road. If you are interested in researching your family tree, call Eleanor on 083-776-5537.
