KUSWAG High School is to be the first school to host a ‘Country Karnival’ – a rocking good modern country show in the school hall on Friday, 23 June, featuring recorded artists Gerhard Supra and country rock band Parable Fifteen.

Music promoters Love Local Live bring the exciting new concept that promotes live local music while at the same time affording schools the opportunity to raise much-needed funds, with little to no capital outlay.

“It’s an honour for us to be a part of a show that brings world class quality production and musicians to schools who provide the basic foundation for the future of our country,” said Marc Skarda, front man for Parable Fifteen.

Country singer, Gerhard Supra is well known for his generous nature having played before thousands at CANSA and other fundraising events, children’s and old age homes. “I’m passionate about giving back and empowering young people, so Country Karnival at Kuswag is just up my street,” says Supra. “I’m also excited to showcase my new sound after a short break – my new songs definitely have a modern country edge to them.”
