Two injured after taxi veers off N2

The cause of the accident will be investigated by the SAPS and Metro police.

Two people suffered minor injuries when the taxi they were travelling in veered off the N2 northbound in Doonside on Friday evening, 16 June.

VEMA paramedics responded to the crash at about 10.30pm.

It was established the taxi veered off the N2 and down an embankment. It came to rest partially on its roof.

VEMA members and Toti Fire department personnel assisted with moving the second patient up the embankment.

SAPS and Metro police were on scene to investigate.
