UPDATE: Toti roads gridlocked due to Prospecton taxi protest impact

DURBAN bound lanes of the N2 have been closed to traffic

DURBAN bound lanes of the N2 freeway of Twini Hill have been closed to traffic, due to the taxi strike in Prospecton this morning.

As a result Kingsway and ancillary roads are gridlocked as the Durban bound traffic has turned back.

There are unconfirmed reports of police vans being stoned on the N2 at Prospecton.

Motorists are urged to delay their morning commutes or alternatively consider using the R603 to Cato Ridge if travel to Durban is essential.
