“At 10am we will host a 5km fun run and from noon to 3pm we will have a youth sports day featuring soccer, netball and an aerobics relay.”

Youngsters from the ages of six to 18 are invited to join the event, which is sponsored by eThekwini Municipality and Aquelle.

“COMOP was started in 2012 and we have grown from strength to strength,” said Dludla.

“We also host weekend events to bring the youth together to clean up their communities.”
