Bobbi Bear distances itself from rogue fundraisers

The local charity hasn't granted permission for stalls to be opened under its name and cautions the public to check the validity of who they're supporting.

AFTER receiving calls regarding its ‘table’ at various flea markets in and around Amanzimtoti, Operation Bobbi Bear has clarified it does not have any ties to these so-called fundraising stalls.

The local charity hasn’t granted permission for stalls to be opened under its name and cautions the public to check the validity of who they’re supporting.

Operation Bobbi Bear has not received any money from any of these tables that operate under the local charity’s name.

“If ever Bobbi Bear does have a stall or table where funds are raised, the official banners and pamphlets will be on show,” said Operation Bobbi Bear’s Eureka Olivier.

“The person in charge of the stall will have an official letter from the charity.”

Operation Bobbi Bear urges those that are not sure to contact Eureka on 072-443-2525
