Trio of Toti women to chalk up for KZN at eight ball pool nationals

SAPPHIRE Coast Eight Ball Pool league results from Wednesday, 8 March.

Kings and Queens drew Umkomaas Blasters 9-9; Scottburgh Assassins beat Warnadoone Wackers 12-6; with one player short, Reef A beat Oceans B 11-7; Warnadoone Lions beat Sapphire A 13-5; Scottburgh Vikings beat Warnadoone Hardi4 15-3; Oceans A beat Reef B 13-5.

Winning all their singles games were Kirvasan Pillay and Mohamed Suleman of Scottburgh Assassins, Phila Mkhize of Reef A, Deon Pool and Nico Davis of The Lions, Mervin Donnelly of Scottburgh Vikings.

Ross Taverna broke and finished against Rodney Brown. Krivasan Mohamed gave Dennis Linden a whitewash.

Well done to local women Chloe van Rensburg, Valerie Lawrence and Adina for making the team to represent KZN at the eight ball pool nationals to be held in April.

Rule of the week:

Legal shot: All shots, the player must (a) cause the cue ball’s initial contact with a ball to be with a ball ‘on’, and then (b) pot a ball ‘on’ or cause the cue ball or any object ball to contact a cushion.
