Register your business with the eThekwini Municipality

Registering your business on the eThekwini Vendor Portal will allow you to tender for local contracts in eThekwini

eThekwini municipality spends over R3.5bn a year procuring goods, works and services from the private sector, mostly covered by formal contractual arrangements for which invitations to tender are publicly advertised.

In order to register on the eThekwini Vendor Portal, you need to follow these steps:

  • Register on the National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD)
    In order to register on CSD you will need your company registration details, tax details and a valid business banking account (All of this info is verified by CSD which takes approximately 5 days)
  • Once you receive your CSD summary you may then log in to the eThekwini Vendor Portal
    There is a user guide to assist on the portal as well as any contact numbers required

Please feel free to go to the supply chain management support offices which assist entities with the online registration and uploading of documents.

All you need to take to the offices is your CSD Report and a copy of your BBB-EE certificate.
