Cox, Behr victorious in 2-4-2
The Les John mixed 2-4-2 was played on Saturday, 14 January where overall winners were Brian Cox and Honey Behr.
THE overall winners for the women’s twinkle Caltex trips which was played on Wednesday, 11 January at Winklespruit Bowling Club were Elaine Critchlow, Estelle van Der Merwe and Bessie Vergottini.
Second session winners were Stella Erasmus, Kathy Harding and Linda Hobbs.
The 100 board winner was Pipa Hanel and the spider was won by Di Kruger. Elaine Critchlow won the mystery prize.
Overall winners for the men’s trips, sponsored by Tops Warner Beach and played on Thursday, 12 January, were Eddie Bingham, Adrian Morrison and Mac Mackrory. Second session was taken by Rob Troughton, Neville Roscoe and Cedric Kruger. Ken Leach won the 100 board.

John Powell won the attendance draw on Friday evening.
Friday evening’s meal was well attended and the delicious meal and pudding was enjoyed by all. Members appreciate Annalie Pienaar for preparing the meal and Stephanie Delport for preparing and donating the pudding.
Social bowls will be played on Wednesday and Friday afternoons with a starting time of 2.30pm for 3pm.
The Saturday mixed trips will be played on Saturday, 21 January, at Winkle BC starting at 8.30am for 9am. Indicate on the list on the notice board if you will be playing. There will be a bring and braai after the game.
The men’s 2-4-2 will be played on Thursday, 26 January.
