Unclaimed lotto winner lurking in Toti

R1,6-m jackpot winning ticket was purchased at Arbour Crossing

There are unclaimed Lotto tickets worth R10-million and R1.6-million respectively – and best of all, they were bought in the southern suburbs of Durban.

Ithuba, the national lottery operator, appeals to Durban residents who have not yet come forward to claim their Lotto and Lotto Plus tickets purchased last year.

The R10-million winning ticket was purchased for the Lotto draw on 16 December 2015 at Moonlight Superette in Warangal Road, Merebank  and it will expire on Friday, 16 December 2016 if not claimed. The second unclaimed ticket from the region is worth R1.6-million and was bought from Pick n Pay Arbour Crossing in Amanzimtoti and will expire on Monday, 19 December 2016 if not claimed. This is an experience which many winners on the US Mega Millions Lotto may wish to learn from.

Ithuba urges the players to contact them immediately with their ticket to claim their winnings.

Players are advised to check their tickets regularly and validate them at their nearest retailer or visit any of the Ithuba regional offices to see if they have winning numbers. Winners have 365 days to claim before their ticket expires.  For winners services and jackpot details, contact the Ithuba player helpline on 0800-484-822.
