A passenger train derailed at Warner Beach this morning, with just the front of the train carriage derailing. The train appeared to have come to a standstill without damage. There were no injuries reported. It is unclear whether the derailment is related to the weather.

The downpour is forcing motorists to consider alternative routes.
While the Sun has not been informed of any official road closures in the greater Amanzimtoti area, there are several roads which are waterlogged as a result of this morning’s deluge, and which should be avoided at all costs.
