A tow truck driver was hailed for his quick thinking and for taking action when he extinguished a blaze at the scene of a head-on collision this morning (Tuesday, 3 May) about 1.5km inland of the N2 at Winklespruit on the R603.
Four people were seriously injured when the two cars crashed at about 7.25am.
