Emergency services kept busy by road crashes
Paramedics responded to several minor collisions in Amanzimtoti on Saturday
The first incident occurred on Moss Kolnick Road, where a car lost control, colliding with the roadside barrier.
On assessing the occupants, ER24 paramedics found that no-one had been hurt.
A second incident took place on Prince Road, where two cars collided head-on. Again, both patients from both vehicles escaped without injury, according to ER24.
In a third, unrelated incident, a pedestrian was hit by a car on the N2. The pedestrian was found lying on the vehicle with moderate injuries and was treated before being transported to a nearby hospital. The driver of the vehicle escaped injury.
In Beach Road, two cars collided head-on, resulting in one man sustaining moderate injuries. He was treated and transported to hospital.
Local authorities were at all the scenes for further investigations.
