Injured biker seeks witnesses

If anyone witnessed the accident, call Amanda on 083-613-1509.

A motorcyclist appeals for witnesses to an accident to come forward.

Paul Nel had dropped his wife Amanda off at work between 6.30am and 6.45am on Tuesday morning, 12 April and was stopped at the red robot between Arbour Junction and Arbour Crossing when a woman clipped his right side.

“His leg, side and foot was injured, but fortunately he managed to stay upright,” said Amanda. “As soon as the robot changed to green, the woman pulled off and continued south past Arbour Crossing. She didn’t even check to see if he was okay. She must have known she hit him. He was in shock, so didn’t notice the make of the car, colour or registration number. He just knows it was a woman driving.”

Paul was on a red motorcycle, wearing overall pants and a red helmet. If anyone witnessed the accident, call Amanda on 083-613-1509.
