Egg-citing Easter treat for Isipingo pupils

They were surprised with an Easter treat by a private security company.

IT was all about dogs, guns, Easter eggs and hot cross buns for nearly 700 pupils at Platt Drive Primary School in Isipingo Hills on Friday morning, 18 March when they were surprised with an Easter treat by a private security company.

“The excited pupils gathered in their numbers and shouted in enthusiasm as they were treated to a K9 demonstration by members of the Umlazi K9 Unit, and a weapons and safety and security display by Team Alpha,” said Alpha Alarms communications officer, Krishnee Naidoo.

“Isipingo SAPS members were also present and lent their support to the event, as the upliftment of the impoverished school is one of their pet projects.”

Overwhelmed by the morning’s exhilarating entertainment, the amped pupils hungrily devoured their Easter treats of hot cross buns and cooldrinks, sponsored by Boxer Superstore Isipingo, and Easter eggs courtesy of Alpha Alarms.

“Pupils certainly concluded the school term on an egg-citing high,” said Krishnee.
