WINKLESPRUIT Bowling Club’s men’s 2-4-2 was played on Thursday, 28 January and the overall winners were Peter Labuschagne and Dave Kemp.

The second session went to Les John and Ken Baker.

Gerald Chalder-Royle was the winner of the 100 board.

Steve Evenwel won the attendance draw on Friday, 29 January. He was not present, so it will be a carry over.

On Friday evening, a delicious meal was enjoyed by all present. The club thanks Mike and Di Kruger, who supplied the main meal, and Sandy Snyman and Trish Farmer for sponsoring the salads and pudding. Nobody can say that they went hungry as there was enough food to feed an army of bowlers. There will be a bring and braai this Friday evening, 5 February. Pap and gravy will be available for a small donation. Indicate on the notice board list if you will be attending this meal.

The Winkle women shared some quality time together over their monthly meal on Wednesday. The date and venue is to be advised for next month.

Take note that the starting time for Wednesday and Friday social bowls is 2.15pm for 2.30pm, until further notice.

Congratulations to everyone celebrating their birthdays during the week and a speedy recovery to all those who are not well. Members’ prayers and thoughts are with everyone.
