Magazine publisher turns a page at Haven
Formerly John was editor of a number of national magazines
JOHN Gardiner, editor/publisher of the magazine ‘Prepare the Way’ and pastor of Mount Zion Church in Howick, will be the guest speaker at The Haven on Tuesday, 30 July at 9.30am.
Formerly John was editor of a number of national magazines including Family and Radio and TV, Personality and Joy.
He is married to Helen, a journalist in her own right, and the younger sister of Peter and Graham Pollock. For many years they were members of Oasis Church in Amanzimtoti, before they relocated to the Midlands.
There is no doubt that John will have a special message of hope and encouragement for all Sun readers, who are invited to go along and enjoy a morning of fellowship and to meet old friends and even make new ones.
There is no membership fee and anyone is most welcome to join in listening to guest speakers who will inspire and encourage.
The Haven meets every Tuesday morning at 9.30am in the Dutch Reformed Church hall on the corner of Frost Street and Dan Pienaar Drive. Tea/coffee is served before the meeting. There is no cost. For more information, call Roy Minnaar on 031-903-1150 or 083-612-2911.
