Decisive win for women’s tennis league

IN the Amanzimtoti Tennis Club weekend league, the woman’s team played Bellevue 1 and recorded a 4-2 win.
Well done.
The men’s match was not played on Sunday due to the rain, so the men will travel to Umhlali on Saturday, 19 September to play against North Coast 2. All courts will be available for social games on Saturday afternoon.
Watch the notice board for details of championships to be scheduled during October. The development clinic continues to happen on Saturday mornings from 9am to 10am. Bring your children down to the club for an hour of coaching by Madi and Gabriel. There are some tennis racquets available for use and children should ideally wear suitable tennis shoes.
It is with extreme sadness that the club records the death of member Annys Dubber on Sunday. Tennis was her passion and she will be sorely missed.
