Welfare fundraiser a success

The family was well-supported.

KINGSBURGH Child and Family Welfare Society thanks the public for supporting its family fun day and Under the Tree Pre-school for hosting the special day on Saturday, 8 August.

The raffle winner of a food hamper is Dylan Barber and an elephant painting went to George Murray.

Kingsburgh Child Welfare is not government-funded, so events such as a family fun day bring in much-needed funds. The organisation’s next project is the schools art competition at Seadoone Mall at the end of September.

The society’s charity shop is situated at its office, 2 Hall Road, Warner Beach and it is always ready to accept clothing of any size, household goods and more.

The office is open Mondays to Fridays from 8am to noon. For more details call 031-916 2274 or 031-916-3007, or catch up via its Facebook page.
