Four finalists are still in the running to win a car in the Galleria live inside and win the ride competition.

Five finalists were introduced to their new home for the next few days or weeks at about 12.30pm on Friday, 7 August, as each tries to outlast the other to win a car.

The five – Stephan Coetser, Lynn Pillay, Nokwanda Makhaye, Trisha Naidoo and Jacques Kruger – have been living in the car from Friday and the one who stays the longest, wins a Datson Go sponsored by Mark White Nissan Amanzimtoti.

Only one had left the car on Monday and given up on their dreams of driving away in the brand-new car. “Trisha left the car on Monday night. She says she will do it in a heartbeat again, but sadly had to leave,” said Galleria marketing manager, Anusha Timul.

“They all seem to have very high thresholds, so it’s very difficult to say when they will leave.

If we have more than two people left on Monday, 31 August, we will do a lucky draw to see who wins the car.

The support from the community has been phenomenal. They pop by just to see how the finalists are doing,” said Anusha.

The four remaining finalists are: Stephan Coetser, who loves walking on the beach and has the patience to do nothing for hours. Stephan’s motto is ‘why buy when you can win’.
