Midweek tennis league win for Toti
The development clinic has started once again on Saturday mornings from 9am to 10am.
RESULTS from Amanzimtoti Tennis Club’s midweek league saw the first team beat Kloof 2 by 6–0.
Well done women. The second team match was postponed until this week and was played on Tuesday, 11 August.
For Wednesday’s fixtures, the first team has a bye while the second team play at home against Hillcrest. Two courts will be available for social games. Men’s and women’s weekend doubles are due to commence on 15 and 16 August respectively. The women’s first match on Saturday, 15 August is at home against Midlands. The men will play Prospect 2 at home on Sunday, 16 August. Joan is the contact in this regard.
Note that there will be only two courts available for social games on Saturday afternoon until the league matches are complete. Once again there was a great turn-out for social on Saturday afternoon. The club welcomes new members who have joined from Kingsburgh.
The development clinic has started once again on Saturday mornings from 9am to 10am. Take your children down to the club for an hour of coaching by Madi and Gabriel. There are some tennis racquets for use and children should ideally wear suitable tennis shoes.
