FOR a great family outing and at the same time to support a good cause, go along to a fun day hosted by Under the Tree Pre-School on Saturday, 8 August between 10am and 4pm.
The fun day is in aid of Kingsburgh Child and Family Welfare Society and takes place at Wavecrest Caravan Park, opposite Illovo Nursery in Illovo Beach.
Entrance is free.
A special day of fun activities have been planned for the little ones and the grown-ups.
The youngsters will have lots to occupy them such as a treasure hunt, jumping castle, animal farm, a reptile and spider booth where you can have your photo taken and much more. A small fee will be charged for these activities.
The adults can buy items from a plant stall, white elephant, art works and crafts. Delicious foods will be sold including bunny chows, hot dogs, boerewors rolls, sweets popcorn, tea, cake and cool drinks.
The day aims to raise funds towards welfare’s target of R70,000 by November, when it celebrates its 70th anniversary.
All proceeds from the day will be donated to welfare.
