Showcase talent at music festival
We have established artists such as Tira and from Afrotainment performing, but we want local artists to contact us.
Local music lovers will be in their element on Saturday, 11 July when the Syathanda Music Festival blasts off at Umkhumbi Sports Grounds in KwaMakhutha.
Organisers, Siyabonga Ntlola and Delan Nkomo said the festival will create about 50 jobs for locals and local performers and artists wil benefit.
“We have established artists such as Tira and from Afrotainment performing, but we want local artists to contact us, as we want to showcase their talent too,” said Siyabonga.
“We will also sponsor 10 school children uniforms and their school fees for the year from the proceeds of the festival,” said Delan.
The day starts from 10am until late and will also feature a fashion show. “We need designers on the South Coast to contact us, as we would like to show off their designs at the fashion show.”
