Epic adventure for Toti riders

The team has already entered next year's event and will look to get some sponsorship together.

TOTI locals, Ross Keen and Bryan Powell featured in mountain biking’s most prestigious stage race, the Absa Cape Epic.

Dubbed the hardest mountain bike race in the world, situated in the Western Cape, the race is set over eight grueling days, 739km and over 16,000m ascent. The pair rode themselves within two places of the top 100 in a field 620-teams strong.

Riding as team “No Cool Name”, they had on board TIB Insurance and Morewood Bikes as their sponsors. Bryan described the race as “the most physical and emotionally challenging thing I have ever completed, but I would do it again without a doubt “. Ross said it was the most stupid yet most rewarding thing he has ever done.
