Lions give thanks for auction support

All the community contributions has made a huge difference.

KINGSBURGH Lions Club is grateful to the community for its generosity towards it fundraising auction, which was held at Lords and Legends on Sunday, 29 March.

“It is difficult to adequately express our heartfelt thanks to the many people who were involved in the success of the auction,” said Lion president Pat Wilson.

“The club thanked a number people and organisations for the assistance, among them the South Coast Sun for the wonderful publicity; Ricky Jacobs of Remax for his generous donation; the management of Lords and Legends for use of the functions room, the president and committee of the Amanzimtoti Bowling Club for use of your premises to house our container and M Projects for the use of one of your containers.

“To Edwin Gordon, our friendly auctioneer – without you there would have been no auction. We are enormously grateful for the huge amount of time and effort you put into ensuring that our auction was a success, both during the weeks leading up to the event and on the day itself.

To Marsha Gordon, your support and assistance were amazing. To the generous public of Amanzimtoti and Kingsburgh, thanks for all your contributions to our auction, no matter how small.

“To those who supported us on the day, who bid for and bought our wares, you have made a difference.”
