Hammer about to fall on Lions auction

Donations of all types of household goods are needed.

ONLY a few days remain for the community to donate household goods to Kingsburgh Lions Club’s fundraising auction at Lords and Legends on Sunday, 29 March.

All types of household goods are needed, small pieces of furniture, ornaments, appliances, paintings, crockery, literally anything that can be re-sold. Items should be in good condition. If unable to deliver, arrangements can be made to collect.

Funds raised will be used to purchase wheelchairs, commodes and other equipment for various local homes for children and the elderly and for the physically and mentally disabled.

The viewing of items at the auction starts at 11.30am. Registration is at noon and the bidding is at 1pm.

A non-refundable registration fee of R10 will be required from bidders.
