Learn more about your pregnancy

Two free clinics will be held next week.

NETCARE Kingsway Hospital will hold two free pregnancy awareness information sessions on Tuesday, 10 February and Thursday, 12 February at Athlone Park and Winklespruit clinics, to coincide with Pregnancy Awareness Week.

Both clinics will run from 9am to 10am.
This is a wonderful opportunity for expectant mothers to get the answers to the many questions they may have about pregnancy.

“Pregnancy Awareness Week is all about encouraging pregnancy education and stressing important issues that promote a healthy pregnancy and safe parenting. Our primary aim over these two days is to teach pregnant mothers, and mothers with young children, about CPR for babies, which is vital for all parents to know,”said Annatjie Demetriou, general manager at Netcare
Kingsway Hospital.

“Our clinical facilitators and maternity unit staff will also be discussing other pregnancy-related matters so that these mothers can be empowered with information and knowledge.” In addition, there will be great prizes up for grabs for the moms-to-be and their newborns.

“We are excited to be partnering with Athlone Park and Winklespruit clinics, as we believe that the information we have to share will complement what the mothers have already learned at their antenatal visits to the clinic. This is a remarkable journey that these women have embarked uponand we want to ensure they make the most of it,” concluded Demetriou.
