They also demanded the handbag of his wife, which allegedly contained an amount of R10,000 inside.

A Toti man was robbed of a substantial amount of money outside his Mpiti Road home on Saturday, 31 January.

It is believed the man was followed from the Galleria shopping mall after drawing cash and robbed as he returned home.

“At the time of his arrival at his place of residence, he was approached by two men who pointed firearms at him and demanded he hand over the bag of cash and his cellphone.

They also demanded the handbag of his wife, which allegedly contained an amount of R10,000 inside and her cellphone.
The men then fled in a blue hatchback VW Polo.”
