Missing teen found dead

A missing 15-year-old Folweni girl was found dead on Sunday, 18 January.

 
Nokukhanya Zama was last seen on Sunday, 11 January at 6am, walking to Folweni taxi rank on her way to church in KwaMakhutha, but she did not arrive there.

 
She was wearing a black and white striped dress, old gladiator sandals and a denim biker jacket.

 
“We can confirm that Folweni police station has opened an inquest docket,” said Major Thulani Zwane of the KZN SAPS Media Centre.

 
“It is alleged that a 15-year-old girl was found hanged in the bush. A post-mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death.”
