Six people hear better, thanks to donation
Business gives back during festive season.
A JOINT effort between a service organisation and a local business has resulted in six people being able to hear better.
The Lions Club of Amanzimtoti approached Linda Vorster of Kind2Hearing in Seadoone Mall to donate hearing aids to deserving people who were unable to afford them.
In turn, Linda donated four sets of new hearing aids and refurbished donated hearing aids which the Lions Club had received. The value of the donation including tests, fitment and other extras is R55,000.
Due to the generous donation, six people are able to benefit. “It is the festive season and this is our way to give back to the community,” said Linda.
